First and foremost, I’d like to apologize for any of you out there that have come across the blog and noticed nothing new in the last week.

There have been a number of personal and financial matters that Ann and I have been working on; banging out potential resolutions for them all this last week. Between my workday and commute there hasn’t been much time for anything else including exercise, so it’s affected me in more ways than one. As such, blogging–either here or on my personal blog–hasn’t even come close to being on my “Things to Do” list this week, and for that I once again pass on my most sincere apologies.

And to get right down to it, with me being so close to my goal, I haven’t had much to report! But once Phase Two begins, chances are you might see a few more posts.

Wait, what? There’s a “Phase Two” coming? What is that?

Well, I’ll tell you all about it when the time is right. Moving along…

The weekend was filled with laziness. About the only thing worthy of “exercise” was when I did some yardwork on Saturday. Other than that there was very little walking, exercising, etc. In fact I skipped Wii Fit on both nights. Not good because I can sort of feel myself drifting away from using it at all now, and that’s not what I need.

Taking all that into consideration…I NEED TO GET MOTIVATED AGAIN!! Somebody kick me back into place!

Speaking of Wii Fit, I finally had to replace the batteries in the balance board as my weight was starting to run all over the place. Within a week I literally yo-yo’d between five pounds each day. It was really strange and yet another reason why, although I use it for my exercising, I do not rely Wii Fit’s “scale” to determine my weight. And you shouldn’t, either. Sure, it’s nice to see a ballpark figure of my progress but to use it strictly as a scale, forget it. Once the batteries were placed my weight was at a more acceptable level but still not near what the bathroom scale reads.

That’s about all I have for now. Tomorrow is Weigh-In #22 (already!) and I won’t begin to speculate what the results will be. Whether good or bad, let’s all be shocked, okay?

See you then!
